Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain NIST cybersecurity frameworks across federal systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on classified networks
- Develop incident response protocols for cybersecurity breaches
- Coordinate with federal agencies to ensure compliance with FISMA requirements
- Mentor junior staff on security best practices and emerging threats
- Prepare detailed security audit reports for congressional oversight
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in federal IT security compliance
- CompTIA Security+ and CISSP certifications required
