Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain NIST-compliant cybersecurity frameworks for DoD systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on classified networks
- Develop incident response protocols and lead breach mitigation efforts
- Manage IAM systems including privileged access controls and multi-factor authentication
- Ensure compliance with Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop security awareness training
- Monitor threat intelligence and implement proactive security measures
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Secret security clearance (ability to obtain Top Secret)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years experience in federal IT security roles
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification
- Experience with DoD RMF (Risk Management Framework)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, ArcSight)
- Knowledge of FedRAMP and CMMC standards
