Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure supporting classified and unclassified DoD systems
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and incident response protocols
- Manage cloud migration projects using AWS GovCloud and Azure Government platforms
- Develop and optimize database solutions for large-scale federal data systems
- Provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams on IT compliance with NIST and FISMA standards
- Coordinate with federal agencies on interoperability solutions for joint operations
- Document system architectures and create technical specifications for procurement processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 5 years experience in federal IT systems with DoD/VA clearance requirements
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expertise in AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, or FedRAMP-compliant cloud environments
- Proficiency in network security tools including Palo Alto firewalls and Splunk SIEM
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies for federal project delivery
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance (Top Secret preferred)
