Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain federal IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and cloud systems
- Implement cybersecurity protocols and ensure compliance with federal regulations (FISMA, NIST)
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for critical veteran service applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system upgrades and integration projects
- Document system configurations, procedures, and incident reports
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
- Train staff on new technologies and IT best practices
- Monitor system performance and optimize resource utilization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of professional IT infrastructure management experience
- Active Security+ CE certification or equivalent federal security clearance
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies
- Strong knowledge of federal IT compliance requirements
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
