Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and cybersecurity systems
- Develop and implement software solutions to automate veteran service processes
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for VA medical facilities in the Las Vegas area
- Ensure compliance with federal IT security standards and FISMA regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies
- Document system configurations and create operational procedures
- Lead IT modernization projects for veteran healthcare systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in federal IT systems administration
- Active Security+ CE certification or equivalent security credential
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and virtualization technologies
- Experience with electronic health record systems (EHR) preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
