Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain secure federal IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and cloud systems
- Implement cybersecurity protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Develop technical documentation and standard operating procedures
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex IT systems and user issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on technology modernization projects
- Ensure compliance with federal IT regulations (FISMA, NIST, etc.)
- Lead disaster recovery planning and business continuity exercises
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of progressive IT experience with federal systems
- Active Security+ CE certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Expertise in Windows Server administration and Active Directory
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and threat mitigation
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and virtualization
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
