Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure IT infrastructure supporting veteran healthcare systems
- Manage cloud migration projects for VA medical facilities across the Midwest
- Ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity regulations (NIST, FISMA)
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing healthcare IT solutions
- Analyze system performance and recommend optimization strategies
- Provide technical guidance to VA healthcare staff on IT best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of federal IT infrastructure experience
- Active Security+ CE certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Proficiency in AWS/Azure cloud platforms and federal IT security protocols
- Experience with HIPAA-compliant healthcare systems
- Strong project management skills (PMP preferred)
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
