Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex IT infrastructure and network systems in compliance with federal standards.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement proactive solutions to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Enforce cybersecurity protocols and data protection measures to safeguard sensitive federal information.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and optimize operational workflows.
- Conduct regular system audits and provide detailed reports on system health and security posture.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users and junior staff members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Information Technology, specifically within a government or large enterprise environment.
- Active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- Proficiency in network administration (Cisco, Juniper) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Strong knowledge of federal compliance regulations, including FISMA, NIST, and FedRAMP.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
