Responsibilities
- Manage Federal IT Infrastructure: Oversee the maintenance, security, and optimization of federal agency networks and servers to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Security Compliance: Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols to ensure compliance with FISMA and NIST standards.
- Technical Support: Provide Tier 3 support for complex hardware and software issues affecting federal personnel.
- Project Management: Assist in the planning and execution of IT modernization initiatives and software deployments.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate technical documentation, incident reports, and system architecture diagrams.
- Vendor Liaison: Coordinate with third-party vendors to resolve technical discrepancies and procure necessary equipment.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent work experience).
- Clearance: Active Secret or Top Secret clearance is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal IT environments or comparable government contracting roles.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Availability: Ability to pass a background investigation and work on-site in Portland, OR.
