Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to federal employees via phone, email, and in-person inquiries.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware and software systems.
- Maintain accurate records of technical issues and resolutions in the Service Desk tracking system.
- Conduct basic network connectivity checks and ensure compliance with federal security protocols.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to identify system vulnerabilities and implement necessary fixes.
- Support the deployment of new hardware and software updates across the office environment.
- Participate in training sessions to stay current with evolving federal technology standards.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Education: High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
- Experience: No prior federal experience required; entry-level candidates with an interest in IT are encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
