In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems that support federal operations.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) in accordance with federal standards.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Ensure strict compliance with information security protocols, including NIST and FISMA requirements.
- Provide technical support and training to federal personnel regarding hardware and software usage.
- Document system configurations, changes, and incident reports accurately.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies into existing federal systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent military experience).
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in IT support, network administration, or systems engineering.
- Experience with federal contracting environments or security clearance processes is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced government environment.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
