Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for federal agency networks and workstations.
- Perform system maintenance, patch management, and security updates during off-peak hours.
- Monitor server health, storage capacity, and network performance to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Enforce FISMA security compliance and conduct regular vulnerability assessments.
- Document technical procedures and resolutions in the Service Management system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of hardware and software assets.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret or Secret Security Clearance (US Citizenship required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in federal or defense contracting environments.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and Linux administration.
- Ability to work rotating weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday) and federal holidays.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and government acquisition regulations is a plus.
