Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain federal facility security systems and IT infrastructure during weekend hours to ensure continuous operations.
- Perform routine hardware diagnostics, software troubleshooting, and network patching for federal staff.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment in strict compliance with federal standards.
- Respond to emergency service tickets and resolve critical infrastructure issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Conduct physical facility inspections and coordinate necessary maintenance services with external vendors.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal security protocols, safety regulations, and emergency procedures.
- Maintain accurate logs of all maintenance activities and service requests.
Qualifications
- Citizenship Requirement: U.S. Citizenship is mandatory for this federal position.
- Education: Associate degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Electronics, or a related field (or equivalent technical experience).
- Experience: Proven experience in IT support, facilities management, or network administration within a corporate or government environment.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating weekend shifts, holidays, and on-call emergencies.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of federal compliance standards (e.g., FISMA, NIST) and physical security protocols.
- Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and professional communication abilities.
- License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
