Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain NIST-compliant security frameworks for DoD networks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on classified systems
- Manage incident response protocols for security breaches
- Oversee security audits and compliance with federal regulations
- Develop and deliver cybersecurity training programs for federal personnel
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on threat intelligence sharing
- Configure and monitor advanced intrusion detection/prevention systems
Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance (Top Secret preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 5+ years experience in federal IT security operations
- Certification in CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in FISMA compliance frameworks
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, ArcSight)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure) architecture
- Strong written communication skills for security reporting
