Responsibilities
- Safeguard VA networks against cyber threats using NIST frameworks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Implement security controls for cloud and hybrid infrastructure
- Develop incident response plans and disaster recovery protocols
- Ensure compliance with FISMA and federal security regulations
- Lead security awareness training for federal employees

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
- Security+ CE certification or equivalent DoD 8570 compliance
- 3+ years of federal IT security experience
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, ArcSight)
- Knowledge of FedRAMP and cloud security models
- Active Secret security clearance
- Experience with risk assessment methodologies
