Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain federal IT security policies (NIST, FISMA) across classified and unclassified systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical infrastructure
- Manage SIEM tools and incident response protocols for security incidents
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on threat intelligence sharing and mitigation strategies
- Develop security awareness training programs for federal personnel
- Ensure compliance with CUI and HIPAA regulations
- Lead security audits and remediation efforts
Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance (Top Secret preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 5+ years experience in IT security with federal systems
- Certification in CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and network security
- Strong knowledge of zero-trust architecture and IAM solutions
- Experience with vulnerability scanners (Nessus, Qualys) and SIEM platforms
- Ability to obtain DHS Suitability clearance
