Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain federal cybersecurity protocols across classified systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for government networks
- Monitor security infrastructure using advanced SIEM tools (Splunk, ArcSight)
- Develop incident response plans and lead security breach mitigation
- Ensure compliance with NIST 800-53 and FISMA standards
- Collaborate with federal agencies on threat intelligence sharing
- Train personnel on security best practices and protocols
Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance (Top Secret preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years experience in federal IT security roles
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Expertise in network security (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
- Knowledge of FedRAMP and DoD security frameworks
- Proficiency in security automation tools (Ansible, Terraform)
- Ability to obtain and maintain government clearance
