Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain IT security frameworks compliant with NIST and FISMA standards
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on federal systems
- Develop incident response protocols and lead cybersecurity investigations
- Manage security access controls and identity management systems
- Coordinate with federal agencies on threat intelligence sharing
- Train personnel on cybersecurity best practices and compliance requirements
- Monitor network security systems and analyze security logs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT security or system administration
- Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Experience with federal security regulations (FISMA, NIST)
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and security architectures
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
