Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity frameworks for federal IT systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Ensure compliance with FISMA, NIST, and other federal regulations
- Develop incident response protocols and security awareness training
- Manage security controls including firewalls, encryption, and access controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security initiatives
- Stay current with emerging threats and defense technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of federal IT security experience
- Security+ CE and CISSP certifications required
- Expertise in risk assessment and compliance frameworks
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux systems and cloud security
- Experience with SIEM tools and security automation
- Ability to obtain and maintain federal security clearance
