Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity protocols across federal networks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical systems
- Monitor security operations center (SOC) alerts and respond to incidents
- Develop risk mitigation strategies for classified and unclassified data
- Ensure compliance with NIST FISMA and federal security frameworks
- Train personnel on security best practices and policy requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security architecture design
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Security+ CE or CISSP certification required
- Minimum 3 years of enterprise security administration experience
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, ArcSight) and vulnerability scanners
- Active federal government security clearance eligibility
