Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain NIST cybersecurity frameworks across federal systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Manage incident response protocols for security breaches
- Develop security policies compliant with federal regulations (FISMA, HIPAA)
- Coordinate with NC State Cybersecurity Task Force initiatives
- Train staff on security best practices and protocols
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Bachelor's degree in IT/Cybersecurity or equivalent experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification
- 3+ years federal IT security experience
- Expertise in Windows/Linux system hardening
- Familiarity with FedRAMP requirements
