Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy enterprise-level network infrastructure solutions across 15+ sites
- Lead cybersecurity compliance initiatives including FISMA and NIST standards
- Manage virtualization environments using VMware and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Coordinate disaster recovery planning and business continuity exercises
- Mentor junior IT staff through technical training and career development programs
- Develop technical documentation and SOPs for system operations
- Collaborate with VA healthcare providers to align IT solutions with clinical workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of enterprise network administration experience
- Active Security+ CE certification and CISSP preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in Cisco enterprise networking (CCNP level)
- Experience with federal IT security frameworks and compliance protocols
- Strong project management skills with PMP certification
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance
