Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure IT systems supporting veteran healthcare operations
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives to protect sensitive veteran health information
- Coordinate IT infrastructure upgrades and system integrations
- Provide technical guidance to clinical and administrative staff
- Ensure compliance with federal IT security standards (FISMA, NIST)
- Manage vendor relationships for IT services and equipment
- Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in enterprise IT environments
- Federal IT security certification (e.g., Security+, CISSP)
- Experience with healthcare IT systems (VistA, Epic preferred)
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure and cloud technologies
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
