Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain federal IT security protocols (NIST/FISMA compliance)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Manage identity access control systems and encryption protocols
- Respond to cybersecurity incidents and coordinate recovery efforts
- Develop security awareness training programs for federal staff
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security infrastructure projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in federal IT security roles
- Security+ CE, CISSP, or GIAC certification required
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security
- Knowledge of federal regulations (FISMA, NIST SP 800-53)
- Active federal government security clearance
