Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain NIST-compliant cybersecurity frameworks across federal systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on classified networks
- Develop incident response protocols and lead security breach mitigation
- Manage identity access controls and authentication systems
- Coordinate with federal agencies on cybersecurity threat intelligence sharing
- Maintain compliance with FISMA and federal security regulations
- Train personnel on security best practices and protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of professional cybersecurity experience with federal systems
- Active CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and vulnerability scanners
- Knowledge of FISMA, NIST 800-53, and FedRAMP requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure) and network security protocols
