Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security incidents during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments on federal networks and systems
- Implement advanced intrusion detection/prevention protocols
- Coordinate with federal agencies during weekend security events
- Generate weekend security incident reports and compliance documentation
- Perform weekend system patching and maintenance windows
- Train junior staff on weekend security protocols
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years federal IT security experience
- Certification in CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 framework
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- US citizenship required
