Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure supporting federal operations
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on classified systems
- Develop and execute incident response protocols for cybersecurity threats
- Manage cloud migration projects using AWS and Azure government platforms
- Provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams on compliance with NIST and FISMA standards
- Lead system integration projects for multi-agency data sharing initiatives
- Maintain documentation of network architecture and security protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in federal IT infrastructure management
- Active CISSP or Security+ certification with CEH endorsement
- Proficiency in FedRAMP and CUI compliance frameworks
- Experience with Splunk, CrowdStrike, or similar SIEM tools
- Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
- Knowledge of DHS-specific cybersecurity protocols and reporting requirements
