Summary of Duties:
The successful candidate will manage the lifecycle of federal IT systems, ensuring compliance with strict security protocols and delivering reliable technology solutions to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain federal information systems and networks.
- Ensure full compliance with FISMA, NIST, and other federal security standards.
- Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident response.
- Conduct security assessments and vulnerability testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement technical solutions.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance records.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior staff members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance.
- 3+ years of experience in federal IT environments or defense contracting.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or Java.
- Certifications: Security+, CISSP, or GSEC preferred.
- Strong understanding of Linux, Windows Server, and virtualization technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
