Responsibilities
- Network Security Management: Oversee the secure configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex local and wide-area networks to ensure uninterrupted mission operations.
- Cybersecurity Compliance: Enforce federal security protocols and FISMA requirements to mitigate risks and protect sensitive data from unauthorized access.
- System Integration: Lead the integration of new hardware and software solutions into existing federal enterprise environments, ensuring seamless interoperability.
- Incident Response: Monitor system logs and analyze threats to detect, respond to, and mitigate cybersecurity incidents in real-time.
- Technical Support: Provide advanced technical support and training to junior staff and end-users to foster a secure computing environment.
Qualifications
- Clearance: Must possess an active Secret or Top Secret security clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field from an accredited institution.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in federal IT or cybersecurity roles.
- Certifications: Current CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP), firewall management, and virtualization technologies.
