The Role:
You will be responsible for the security of our networks and systems. You will work alongside top-tier professionals to ensure compliance with federal regulations and defend against cyber threats.
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain advanced cybersecurity measures to protect federal information systems and sensitive data.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and security audits to ensure compliance with federal standards (e.g., NIST, FISMA).
- Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and respond to security incidents in real-time.
- Configure and manage firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs.
- Develop and update security policies and procedures for the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: United States Citizenship is required for federal employment.
- Clearance: Active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one is required.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field; OR 4 years of related experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network security or information assurance.
- Certifications: Preferred: CISSP, Security+, GSEC, or CEH.
- Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure).
