Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain complex federal IT infrastructure, including cloud and on-premise environments.
- Ensure full compliance with FISMA, NIST, and agency-specific security policies and controls.
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, and security audits.
- Lead incident response teams and execute recovery plans for cybersecurity threats.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and support staff.
- Manage software licensing, hardware lifecycle, and system optimization to maximize performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance (or eligibility to obtain) is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal government or defense contracting IT environments.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Agile methodologies and ITIL framework.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and client reporting.
