As a Federal IT Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and security of government networks. We are looking for detail-oriented professionals who thrive in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and troubleshoot federal network systems, applications, and hardware to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive government data.
- Configure and manage enterprise-level security solutions, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
- Collaborate with federal stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable IT solutions.
- Conduct regular system audits and vulnerability assessments to ensure compliance with federal standards.
- Provide technical support and training to junior staff and end-users.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent military experience).
- 3+ years of experience in IT support, network administration, or cybersecurity within a federal or government-contracted environment.
- Strong understanding of federal security regulations (e.g., NIST, FISMA).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Clearance: Active Top Secret or Secret clearance is preferred; candidates willing to obtain clearance are encouraged to apply.
