Responsibilities
- Manage, configure, and maintain federal IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and end-user devices.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal security protocols, FISMA requirements, and NIST standards.
- Conduct system audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify security risks.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for internal federal stakeholders and agencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute system upgrades and cloud migrations.
- Document technical processes, incident reports, and maintenance logs according to strict regulatory standards.
- Monitor system performance and implement proactive measures to ensure 99.9% uptime.
Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance or willingness to undergo a federal background investigation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT support or system administration within the federal sector.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC.
- Strong knowledge of network security principles, data protection laws, and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
