Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure IT systems for federal operations
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop disaster recovery plans and business continuity protocols
- Coordinate with DHS cybersecurity teams on threat intelligence
- Manage cloud migration projects using AWS/Azure
- Ensure compliance with FISMA and NIST standards
- Mentor junior IT staff on federal security protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years IT experience with federal systems
- Active Security+ CE and CISSP certifications
- Expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Knowledge of FISMA/NIST compliance frameworks
- Experience with FedRAMP authorization processes
- Secret clearance (ability to obtain Top Secret)
- Proficiency in Python and PowerShell scripting
