Responsibilities
- Manage and secure federal IT systems in compliance with NIST and FISMA standards
- Implement cybersecurity protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Support incident response and disaster recovery planning
- Coordinate with cross-agency teams on security initiatives
- Document system configurations and compliance reports
- Train staff on security best practices and protocols
- Monitor network traffic and analyze security alerts
Qualifications
- Active U.S. government security clearance (Top Secret preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
- 3+ years experience with federal IT infrastructure
- Proficiency in Windows Server and Active Directory
- Certification in CISSP, Security+, or CompTIA Security+
- Familiarity with FedRAMP compliance requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to obtain DHS Suitability clearance
