Responsibilities
- Manage and secure federal IT systems in compliance with NIST standards
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for network infrastructure and cloud platforms
- Implement cybersecurity protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Coordinate with federal agencies on cross-departmental IT projects
- Document system configurations and maintain compliance documentation
- Train staff on security best practices and emergency protocols
- Respond to cybersecurity incidents and implement recovery procedures
Qualifications
- Active U.S. government security clearance (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Bachelor's degree in IT/Cybersecurity or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in IT infrastructure management or cybersecurity
- Expertise in Microsoft Azure, AWS, and federal cloud frameworks
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Experience with FedRAMP compliance standards
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotations
