Responsibilities
- Administer and secure federal IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and endpoints, ensuring 99.9% uptime.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to maintain compliance with federal security standards (FISMA, NIST).
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and troubleshooting for complex hardware and software issues within the federal environment.
- Manage user access controls, permissions, and Identity and Access Management (IAM) protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cloud migration strategies and modernize legacy systems.
- Document all technical processes, configurations, and incidents in accordance with ITIL best practices.
Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 3+ years of experience in federal IT environments, system administration, or cybersecurity.
- Proficiency with Cisco networking equipment, Windows Server, and Linux environments.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator are highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of FISMA compliance and federal contracting regulations.
