Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain critical IT infrastructure supporting healthcare delivery systems
- Implement cybersecurity protocols and ensure compliance with federal regulations (FISMA, HIPAA)
- Provide technical support to healthcare staff and resolve system issues within SLAs
- Collaborate on IT projects to improve veteran service delivery and operational efficiency
- Document system configurations, processes, and incident reports
- Train staff on new technologies and system updates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management or healthcare IT
- Federal IT security certification (e.g., Security+, CASP) or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies
- Experience with EHR systems (e.g., VistA, Cerner) preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain appropriate federal security clearance
- Strong problem-solving skills with customer service focus
