We are seeking a highly skilled Federal IT Specialist for an immediate hire opportunity in Dallas, Texas. Our client, a leading government contractor, is expanding its federal team and requires a professional with a strong background in federal infrastructure support and compliance.

Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain federal government IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and security systems.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal regulations (FISMA, NIST) and agency-specific security protocols.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for federal employees and agency personnel.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement security patches to protect sensitive data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to upgrade and modernize legacy federal systems.
- Document system configurations and maintain detailed technical logs for audits.
Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain one (Top Secret preferred).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience supporting federal or defense contracts.
- Technical certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and network configuration.
