Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and troubleshooting for federal hardware and software systems.
- Implement and maintain network security protocols to ensure compliance with FISMA and NIST standards.
- Monitor system performance and conduct regular security audits to identify vulnerabilities.
- Document system configurations, incident reports, and technical procedures for federal audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute IT projects and infrastructure upgrades.
- Ensure 24/7 availability of critical federal systems through proactive maintenance and monitoring.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one (required for federal roles).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in federal or government contracting IT environments.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH are highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and Cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
