Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize federal IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and cybersecurity systems
- Develop and implement IT solutions to support veteran healthcare operations
- Provide technical support and training to staff on federal IT protocols
- Ensure compliance with federal security standards (NIST, FISMA)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system integration projects
- Document IT processes and maintain accurate system inventories
- Respond to cybersecurity incidents and implement mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in federal IT systems administration
- Active Security+ CE or equivalent cybersecurity certification
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with ITIL framework and service management tools
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
