Summary of Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain federal government IT systems and networks to ensure 99.9% uptime and security.
- Conduct thorough system audits and vulnerability assessments to comply with federal regulations (FISMA).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IT solutions that drive operational excellence.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for federal staff, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Document all system configurations, changes, and incidents in compliance with strict documentation standards.
- Participate in on-call rotations and emergency response initiatives as required.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret or Secret Security Clearance (or eligibility to obtain).
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in federal IT or related government contracting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced scripting languages (Python, Bash).
- Experience with network protocols, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), and cybersecurity best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to brief senior leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
