Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain federal information systems and network infrastructure to ensure high availability and security.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate potential cyber threats.
- Oversee the deployment of hardware and software solutions in compliance with federal regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical support and solutions for complex IT challenges.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity.
- Document technical procedures and maintain accurate records of system configurations and changes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from an accredited university (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Minimum of 4 years of specialized experience in IT systems administration, network engineering, or cybersecurity.
- Experience with federal security protocols, including FISMA compliance and CUI (Controlled Unclassified Information) handling.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, hardware, and virtualization technologies.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
