Responsibilities
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain federal network infrastructure and server environments during evening and overnight hours.
- Provide Level 3 technical support to federal personnel, resolving complex incidents with minimal downtime.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal security protocols, NIST standards, and agency-specific IT policies.
- Perform routine system backups, patch management, and security updates to protect against cyber threats.
- Document all system changes, incident reports, and maintenance logs accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IT improvements and resolve inter-departmental issues.
Qualifications
- Clearance: Active Top Secret Security Clearance (TS/SCI preferred).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in federal, government, or defense contracting IT environments.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Windows Server, Linux, Cisco networking, and virtualization technologies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting technical status to leadership.
- Availability: Must be willing and able to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
