Key Responsibilities
As an IT Specialist, you will play a vital role in maintaining our technological infrastructure during non-business hours.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot federal IT systems and networks during the night shift.
- Ensure the integrity and security of sensitive data and federal records.
- Perform routine system backups, patch management, and performance diagnostics.
- Resolve technical incidents and service requests with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate with day-shift operations teams to ensure seamless service continuity.
- Document technical procedures and maintain accurate logs of system activities.
Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain Public Trust.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or network engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and network protocols.
- Familiarity with federal IT security standards and compliance requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
