Responsibilities
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain federal IT infrastructure and networks during night shift hours.
- Respond to system alerts and incidents, escalating critical issues to the on-call team as necessary.
- Perform routine system backups, patch management, and security audits outside of peak operational hours.
- Provide technical support and documentation for federal personnel utilizing internal systems.
- Ensure compliance with federal security protocols and ITIL best practices.
- Conduct nightly system health checks and generate performance reports.
Qualifications
- Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance (or ability to obtain one).
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent technical experience.
- Experience with Windows Server, Linux, and network troubleshooting.
- Must be willing and able to work rotating night shifts, holidays, and weekends.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with federal government IT standards and compliance regulations.
