Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot federal information systems and networks during the night shift.
- Implement and enforce cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive government data.
- Respond to system alerts, incidents, and service tickets with minimal supervision.
- Perform regular backups, patch management, and system updates to ensure operational continuity.
- Document system configurations and troubleshooting procedures for knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance (required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in IT support, system administration, or cybersecurity.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and network protocols (TCP/IP).
- Ability to work independently and effectively during night hours.
