Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure federal IT systems and networks
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for VA staff and veterans
- Ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity regulations (FISMA, NIST)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT infrastructure projects
- Document system configurations and maintenance procedures
- Lead system upgrades and migration initiatives

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of federal IT experience or equivalent GS-9 level
- Active Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal IT security protocols
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
