Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the agency's local and wide area network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
- Implement and monitor security measures to protect federal data and systems from cyber threats.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
- Conduct system audits and security assessments to ensure compliance with FISMA and NIST standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy IT systems and improve efficiency.
- Document technical procedures and maintain accurate records of network configurations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent military experience).
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management within the federal or government sector.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and Windows Server environments.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and ITIL frameworks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
