Key Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to federal agency employees, resolving hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Manage and maintain IT asset inventory, ensuring accurate tracking of all federal equipment.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of workstations, printers, and mobile devices.
- Monitor system performance and respond to alerts to ensure 99.9% uptime for critical federal systems.
- Document technical issues and resolutions in the Service Desk ticketing system.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to implement security patches and updates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent technical experience).
- Strong understanding of Windows operating systems, networking fundamentals, and office productivity software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- High school diploma with relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+) is a plus.
